Food Network's Guy Fieri Serves Waffles for Hampton Inn |

 If you've been following the recent recipes here on FTK, you've seen just how important we know waffles are to us and to the world (see the recipe here). ...and now we've got the testimony of Hilton Worldwide's Hamtpon Inn chain. They've just announced the addition of personal waffle makers to its breakfast buffets in nearly all of its 1800 U.S. hotels. And how did they celebrate this grand waffle event? By giving away free waffles, of course!
On June 17, 2010, Food Network star chef Guy Fieri helped "Wake Up New York" by making free waffles for the crowds of Herald Square Park in new York City. This amounts to serving upwards of 7000 people, according to Hilton Worldwide. It's an event so big that Fieri even got his son, Hunter, involved.
